Petropoulakis Tower was manufactured in 1790 in the Rahi Gythion by Panagiotis Petropoulakis.
The family - one of bigger in Mani - was found in the locality Rahi, hardly 3,5 km outside from the Gythion, after repeated conflicts from 1690 (that was written) with Turkish.
Today the Tower 'Petropoulakis' has been restored by Dimitris Petropoulakis, with complete respect in the architectural tradition of the era and the story of family. It has transformed into a traditional hotel A class and allocates 27 beds in 5 double traditional rooms, 2 Junior suites, 1 superior suite, 1 executive suite and 1 presiddential suite.
